Help for Heroes were honoured to welcome supporters from across the City to the rooftop gardens of Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, marking one year since we launched No One Left Behind — our most ambitious campaign yet.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve made a strong start in our mission to raise £17 million for veterans who are Very Seriously Injured (VSI). Thanks to early support from defence sector partners and generous individuals, lives are already being changed. But we still have a long way to go — and we can’t do it alone.
Because of these donations, veterans who rely on others 24/7 for the most basic daily needs are receiving the expert care they deserve. Since the start of 2025, our specialist team has delivered vital therapies, provided bespoke equipment, and helped veterans achieve goals they never thought possible. We’ve seen isolation ease, confidence grow, and families who became carers overnight finally feel supported.
But recovery is not quick — or easy. That’s why our support goes beyond clinical care. This year, we hosted a five-day respite break for 12 veterans, offering access to outdoor activities like climbing, ziplining, and adaptive watersports. These moments of adventure have sparked joy, built confidence, and reminded veterans — and their families — of what’s still possible.
The truth is, these veterans were fit, capable, and serving our country when everything changed. Now, they need us to serve them.
We’ve begun this journey together — but we must go further. With your help, we can reach every veteran who needs us. Because no one should be left behind.
