HELP FOR HEROES JOINS FORCES WITH BAE SYSTEMS TO SUPPORT SERIOUSLY INJURED VETERANS

The company's support will help provide a lifetime of specialist care for the nation's most seriously injured and ill veterans.

Help for Heroes is joining forces with BAE Systems, the UK’s largest defence company, who will donate £300,000 over the next two years to provide life-changing support for very seriously injured veterans.

The collaboration between Help for Heroes and BAE Systems underscores a shared commitment to improving the lives of those who have bravely served in the Armed Forces and their families. All money donated will go to support Help for Heroes ‘No One Left Behind’ campaign, which aims to provide a lifetime of the best specialist, personalised care possible for very seriously injured and ill veterans.

James Needham, CEO of Help for Heroes, said: “We are incredibly grateful to BAE Systems for joining the campaign to help our very seriously injured veterans, who require specialist 24-hour care and support. Many are unexpected survivors of conflict, whose lives were saved due to modern medical advances and improvements in battlefield first aid. Collaborating with BAE Systems will help us to ensure these veterans’ needs are met for the rest of their lives.”

Hearing the compelling personal stories of veterans and family members being helped by the ‘No One Left Behind’ campaign made it clear to us that joining this effort was critically important and perfectly aligned with our company mission of protecting those who protect us. As one of the UK’s leading employers of veterans, we’re proud to be working with Help for Heroes to support the UK’s most seriously injured veterans.
